Sizwe Africa IT Group realigns for market growth, names Avhaathu Rathogwa as Chief Revenue Officer

As a way of remaining competitive in today’s challenging ICT solutions environment, Sizwe Africa IT Group has realigned its go-to-market strategy and business model from a services-driven to a client-focused and revenue-generating model.

This new business model was officially implemented on 1 July 2021, and enables high-level performance/high-efficiency, growth and scalability, while allowing Sizwe to retain its focus as a one of the leading integrated ICT solutions providers.

To spearhead this new model, the company recently appointed Avhaathu Rathogwa as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), to oversee the sales function and align efforts from Sizwe’s revenue-generating business portfolios to drive profitable growth.

Rathogwa brings to Sizwe 19 years of experience in sales, marketing and enterprise development, which she acquired from leading various high-performance teams, and holding senior leadership positions within the facilities management and ICT sectors.

About Avhaathu Rathogwa

She holds a Master’s degree in Knowledge Management: Leadership and Decision-making strategy from the University of Stellenbosch; a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Industrial Psychology from the University of South Africa. She has also participated in several leadership programmes through the Wits Business School and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
